Walking

It may be quite basic, but walking carries with it some awesome benefits, mainly because of its cardiovascular effects. In fact, a  study published recently in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology,  looked at the physical activity levels of nearly 140,000 women ages 50 to 79.

Researchers found  and found noticeable ties between walking and a reduced risk of heart failure which is a large contributor to heart disease.
